A stand-out stand for Dynamic Yield at OMR Festival, Hamburg

Dynamic Yield are a recent Mastercard acquisition, offering personalised, optimised, and synchronised customer experiences that foster loyalty and drive revenue online. Knowing our relationship with Mastercard, they came to us to help them to design and build their stand at the prestigious Online Marketing Rockstars Festival in Hamburg, Germany.  

Arguably the biggest digital marketing event in Europe, the event attracts around 70,000 attendees, 1,000 exhibitors, and features keynote speakers including Kim Kardashian, Rick Rubin and Tim Ferris among over 800 speakers on seven stages. As part of a campaign to highlight the relationship with Mastercard, Dynamic Yield wanted a knockout stand which would attract attention from some of the biggest brands in the world. 

Bigger thinking

Our task was to use their new brand guidelines to design a 45m2 stand which would make an impact at the festival, but we convinced them that if they really wanted to stand out then they needed a stunning creative approach. We pushed to leave the core brand guidelines and utilise the recent global campaign, using a bold purple gradient and strong typography to create a welcoming layout complete with big screens and seating with interactive screens. 

With stakeholders located around the world, approvals took time. Working against the clock and to a limited budget, we succeeded in creating a stand with a unique look and feel that stood out from the crowd and still matched brand guidelines.
